How to copy a folder from one server to another using scp

To copy a folder from one server to another , we can use the recursive switch ie ‘-r’ of scp

Example

$ scp -r /wysheid/myfolder [email protected]:/wyheid/

The above command will copy the folder ‘/wysheid/myfolder’ to wysheid12crac56
